  • • Ticket purchases will be confirmed via email and an e-ticket issued

  • • Save 25% with our ticket bundle offer does not apply to free events or to any ticket types which include merchandise

  • • Save 25% with our ticket bundle offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer

  • • Ticket sales are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable

  • • No refunds or discounts will be given for whole or partial events not attended

  • • Resale of tickets purchased for profit or financial gain will result in seizure or cancellation of that ticket(s) without refund or other compensation

  • • Tickets cannot be used for unauthorised 3rd party competitions

  • • The Chelsea History Festival reserves the right to:
    • 1. Cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances outside of its control, including in the event of any Covid-19 restrictions coming into effect.  In these circumstances a full refund will be issued to the ticket holder
    • 2. Change a venue, speaker or event content due to unforeseen circumstances outside of its control.  In these circumstances’ refunds will be issued to the ticket holder, upon request
    • 3. Refuse entry to the event if it is deemed that the ticket holder is not meeting the terms and conditions
    • 4. Ask anyone to leave an event if the terms and conditions are not being adhered to
    • 5. A £2 booking fee will be applied to all bookings made, with the exception of free events which do not include books

In Person – Chelsea History Festival 2021: Ticketing Terms and Conditions of Entry

  • • When entering an event, a valid ticket must be presented, either a printed ticket or e-ticket on a mobile device.

  • • Mobile phones, pagers and watches must be silenced before entering an event

  • • Unauthorised use of camera, video camera or any other sort of recording equipment is strictly forbidden at any event

  • • Smoking is prohibited in all of our festival venues; this includes the use of E-Cigarettes and personal vaporisers

  • • Some events may be filmed or recorded, buying a ticket affirms your consent

  • • Attendees must ensure that all personal belongings are kept with them at all times; the Chelsea History Festival will not accept any responsibility for the loss of possessions at any of our venues

  • • Please adhere to the age range specifics for children’s and family events

  • • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over

  • • The Chelsea History Festival maintains a safeguarding policy but cannot take responsibility for unsupervised children

  • • Where permitted any child over the age of 2 needs their own seat to any of our talks

Online Only Chelsea History Festival 2021: Ticketing Terms and Conditions of Entry

  • • Online only tickets are individually priced – see each event for specific details and pricing

  • • E-tickets will be issued for all online events, there will be no printed tickets issued.   Once you have purchased a ticket for an event the link and password for the event will be sent that can be used on your device. This link cannot be shared with multiple users.

  • • Events will be hosted on the chelseahistoryfestival.com website

  • • We recommend that events are watched on a computer or laptop with a strong internet connection for the best viewing experience. However, you can watch on a mobile phone or table. 

  • • Should your internet connection fail you or something to prevents you watching live, the event will remain available to watch until 6th October 2021

  • • Online only talks will be available to purchase up until 26th September 2021

  • • The Festival catch up on demand service will be available for 10 days from 26th September, until 6th October 2021.

Book  Purchases Chelsea History Festival 2021: Terms and Conditions of Purchase and Fulfilment

  • • Books purchased as part of an in-person event will be available for collection on entry to the book signing which follows the event

  • • When collecting your book in person a valid ticket must be presented, either in the form of a printed ticket or e-ticket on a mobile device

  • • We are unable to issue books purchased as part of an in-person event prior to the event taking place

  • • Books purchased as part of an online event or as stand-alone book purchase from the online bookshop will be posted after the event has taken place and, in any case, no later than 28th September with the exception of those books which have a publication date after the Festival

  • • Books with a publication date after the Festival are available as a pre-order.  Postage of these orders will be subject to a later postage date, please see individual events for more detail

  • • Signed books are non-refundable or exchangeable

  • • Postage fees will be applied for all books purchased from the Festivals’ online bookshop.  We operate a tiered system, according to the country of postage.  These are visible at checkout

  • • The Chelsea History Festival’s online bookshop opens from 16th August 2021 – closes  3rd October 2021
